General information about our products
Each MCC/PCC is designed to satisfy the demands of today's industries. It meets diverse technical requirements under stringent and varying site conditions. It utilizes floor space more efficiently. The design confirms to new national and international standards on switchgears and it is flexible enough to suit varying requirements of the customer. The design is completely dust and vermin proof and suitable for modular indoor floor mounting. We offer a wide choice in compartment sizes to suit various electrical brands. MCCs are available either single front or double front construction in fixed or drawout design. These panels are extensible on both sides. PCCs
The PCCs are designed in two or three tier constructions and with single and double busbar systems to suit the requirements of industries with power generating plants for captive consumption. Pre-manufacturing approval:
General arrangement and wiring diagram, installation plan showing the foundation details, requirements of opening for cable entries are submitted for approval before the custom-manufacture of each product. Labeling:
Engraved Acrylic or Aluminium anodized labels are provided on every incoming and outgoing feeder compartments/ instruments. Painting
The sheet metal components are treated specially to withstand industrial environment. They undergo process of degreasing, pickling in acid, cold rinsing, phosphating, passivating and then spraying with a high corrosion resistant primer. The primer is then cured in ovens. The final finish is provided with a coat of polyurethane paint of approved shade and stoved, resulting in scratch and corrosion resistant surface. Each panel is provided with polybag packing plus bituminous paper covers and a strong dust proof case with rain covers for packing. Each case is marked for identification. Product details (continued)
Busbar Systems
The main horizontal busbars and vertical busbars are housed in totally enclosed separate compartments. The busbars are provided with heat shrinking colour-coded sleeving. Except at the contact, the busbars are completely insulated resulting in virtually no short circuits between the phases and neutral or earth in the bus zone. Sleeving also protects busbars against contact with hardware or tools and against conductive dust. The sleeve shrinks over the busbar during the heat curing process and it takes its shape without leaving any voids or pinholes. The sleeving is permanent and can be removed only by destruction. Busbars can be inspected by removing top plates or the front covers. In feeder compartments, all live line work and terminals are fully shrouded for operator's safety.
